Hello there friends! It’s been a quiet summer on the blog. My life has been filled with high highs and low lows, from being sick for nearly two months with Covid, to going on a long trip to one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in this world, the incredible land of Scotland. And though I wish I had been able to share more in this space, I was given the gift of quiet reflection and that is something I am so thankful for.
Eventually, I’m sure there will be pieces from our trip I will share (at a minimum my packing thoughts), but for now, I am just soaking in the present and ready to dive into styling my wardrobe for a very Texas Fall.
So with that let’s jump into this outfit shall we?
Today I am wearing an outfit combo that I have really loved recently:
Tank top + Parachute pants + Flip flops + Elevated bag

Though this outfit still has many summer elements, we are still getting up in the 90s during the day so many of my outfits call for lightweight breathable separates.
To Fall-ify this look though I wore a heavier-weight parachute/utility pant that is going to transition beautifully into cooler months, as well as a tank top that I will layer under cardigans, blazers, and jackets.
I love pieces that easily transition into different seasons and these two will be working for me for months to come.
Through the years I have come to embrace what September and most of October in Texas actually feels like, and that has given me the Freedom to enjoy and creatively style my wardrobe for what the early Fall months actually feel like.
